Position Overview:
We are seeking a bilingual BSA Analyst I, proficient in both English and Spanish, to be part of our dedicated team.

The BSA Analyst I will be tasked with overseeing all facets of monitoring activities related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and OFAC compliance, as outlined in the FFIEC Bank Secrecy Act Anti-Money Laundering Examination Manual. This role ensures that all activities and processes adhere to bank policies and procedures, as well as audit and regulatory requirements.


Work Schedule:
Hybrid work model - Anticipated 1 day in the office and 4 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and manage internal examinations, investigations, and inspections.
  • Review records and documents of accounts to verify compliance with current bank policies and procedures.
  • Assess Currency Transaction Reports for accuracy and ensure timely submission.
  • Manage account reviews and SAR case assignments.
  • Draft case write-up reports and provide recommendations on whether to file a SAR, under supervision.
  • Ensure prompt implementation of new procedures in line with any changes in laws and regulations related to OFAC, BSA/AML/CIP, and enhanced due diligence programs.
  • Familiarize and comply with all relevant Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of bank documentation, fraud investigation, and banking operations preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information effectively and maintain a professional demeanor in all communications.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (both spoken and written).
