Position Overview

The Pre-Sales Consultant at HCLTech within the pharmaceutical sector is integral to the sales process, utilizing deep knowledge of pharmaceutical offerings, compliance standards, and technical solutions to craft customized proposals for potential clients. This position focuses on identifying client needs and showcasing the benefits of our products and services.

Core Responsibilities:

Client Interaction:

  • Work closely with the sales team to discern and analyze client requirements.
  • Perform comprehensive needs assessments to collect both business and technical specifications from clients.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.

Solution Development and Demonstration:

  • Create tailored solutions and proposals that resonate with client objectives and operational goals.
  • Design and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Effectively communicate the technical and commercial advantages of our offerings to stakeholders.

Technical Assistance:

  • Offer technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Address client inquiries regarding product capabilities, performance metrics, and compatibility.
  • Collaborate with product development and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and aligned with client expectations.

Industry Insight:

  • Remain informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market analysis and industry standards.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and sales support documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or a similar capacity within the pharmaceutical field.
  • A demonstrated history of successfully supporting sales initiatives and fostering productive client relationships.
