About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavioral interventions and providing support to children with complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior plans for children, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Monitor and document behavior changes, utilizing data to inform treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and progress updates.
- Provide positive reinforcement and redirection strategies to children exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Collect and analyze data on behavior changes, informing adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with families, delivering empathetic and professional support throughout the therapeutic process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying new knowledge to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- An active RBT license, demonstrating your commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards.
- Proven experience working with children, particularly in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- A patient and organized approach, ensuring meticulous documentation and data collection.
