Job Description

Role Overview

As a key member of The Willows Event Center team, the Banquet Manager will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events and experiences for our clients.

Core Functions

  • Lead and support the Banquet Team to create memorable events
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling part-time Banquet Team Members
  • Monitor and maintain labor and materials costs
  • Lead event setup and execution to ensure successful events
  • Manage event center and storage spaces to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Team on buffet presentation and food coordination
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, ordering, and tracking bar sales

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of event experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of leadership experience

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, and frequent walking
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and be able to be insured by company fleet insurance

Hours and Schedule

  • 40-45 Hours per week
  • Nights and weekends required
  • Minimal travel required for company events
