Role Overview
As a key member of The Willows Event Center team, the Banquet Manager will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events and experiences for our clients.
Core Functions
- Lead and support the Banquet Team to create memorable events
- Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling part-time Banquet Team Members
- Monitor and maintain labor and materials costs
- Lead event setup and execution to ensure successful events
- Manage event center and storage spaces to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Team on buffet presentation and food coordination
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, ordering, and tracking bar sales
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of event experience
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of leadership experience
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, and frequent walking
- Must have a current and valid driver's license and be able to be insured by company fleet insurance
Hours and Schedule
- 40-45 Hours per week
- Nights and weekends required
- Minimal travel required for company events
