About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Risk Manager RN to join our team at Providence Oregon Regional Shared Services. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks that impact patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address clinical risks
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on risk management best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • 5 years of clinical experience in a progressively responsible position
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and experience related to a wide variety of patient populations and care delivery models
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively with physicians, nursing, and hospital management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, or Business Administration
  • Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification
  • Experience working with patient claims and risk management issues
