Southeast Regional Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales Representative for our Fine Wine Portfolio in Florida.
About Us:Terroir Selections is a boutique-focused, statewide family-owned Florida distributor. Our philosophy is based on working with Responsible Farmers (Biodynamic, Organic, and Sustainable) as well as family-owned estates. We ship everything in temperature-controlled logistics from the winery to your door.
Our Philosophy:We believe in keeping wines as close as possible to their natural state in the cellar. Our warehouse is kept at 64-68 degrees, and all of our trucks are refrigerated. We represent estates from 17 countries worldwide, including the US, Chile, Argentina, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Lebanon, Portugal, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, Hungary, and Greece.
Direct Import Company:Terroir Selections is our direct import company, which we are consistently developing to bring in fine wine estates from around the world and sell to other states in the US. We cut out the middleman pricing, saving our customers nearly 25% on many of our fine wines from areas such as France, Germany, Spain, China, and Italy.
About You:You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales management plan for the Southeast US. This includes developing strategies to increase distribution within our sales team in Florida and our distribution partners in the Southeast US. Representing over 160 producers within our import company, you will utilize your strong sales and relationship-building skills to meet or exceed monthly and annual case and distribution goals.
Responsibilities:- Cultivate and develop long-term relationships with our existing accounts while adding new distribution and increasing account base by opening new accounts.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual case and distribution goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales management plan for the Southeast US.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a related field or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' sales management experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and distribution goals.
- Must reside in South Florida.
- Strong knowledge of industry and Florida business.
- Work experience in the restaurant or retail industry preferred.
- Confident, natural sales and service professional that can motivate, develop, and educate others to the highest level of performance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a highly functioning team.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility of schedule is mandatory; must be able to work nights and weekends when needed.
- FL DL and clean DMV record.
- Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to adopt new sales/management software tools.
