Strategic Alignment:
The Senior Vice President of Human Resources is the steward of our brand and culture, ensuring that human resource initiatives align with the organization's core values of integrity, compassion, excellence, innovation, and community.


The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that guarantees we have the right talent, culture, and systems to support our growth objectives and maintain our reputation as an employer of choice. Leadership Oversight:
The Senior Vice President will oversee key human resource personnel responsible for the development and implementation of policies, programs, and practices that align with the organization's mission, vision, and values, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining a high-performing workforce.

Ensure compliance with all HR-related labor laws, employee relations, fair employment practices, and wage & hour regulations. Provide trusted Human Resources Management counsel and support to all employees.

This includes performance management systems, professional development, succession planning strategies, and innovative practices for sourcing and retaining top talent.


People Operations and Compliance:

Collaborating with a skilled team of human resources professionals, the Senior Vice President will ensure the effective operation of HR systems, policies, and procedures while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.


Organizational Development:

Partnering with senior leaders, the Senior Vice President will identify organizational development needs and design strategies to address them. As part of the executive team, you will lead change management initiatives to support the organization's growth and transformation.

The Senior Vice President will also oversee a team focused on preparing our clinical and administrative personnel to meet organizational goals.

Volunteers are a vital resource in our organization. The Senior Vice President will oversee personnel responsible for volunteer programming, including policies, recruitment, training, and compliance relevant to agency volunteers who contribute to our mission.


EDUCATION:
A Master's Degree in a health-related field, business administration, or personnel management is required. PHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience overseeing multiple administrative functions, with proven HR experience at the management level in a healthcare setting.

Experience in home healthcare is highly advantageous.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

At least 10 years of comprehensive HR experience at the management level with progressive leadership responsibilities.

Proven experience in developing and implementing successful strategic human resources management plans.

Experience as an HR practitioner or manager across all functional HR areas: recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and development, occupational health, and payroll.

Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships, negotiate, and influence organizational change.

A strategic planner with sound technical, business, and analytical skills.

Understanding of leadership principles, a proven track record of achievements, and effective communication skills.

Knowledge of current human resources management theories, business and labor laws, facilities management practices, and volunteer resource management.
