Senior Product Manager, Commercial Software Solutions

As a Senior Product Manager for Chevrolet's Commercial Software Platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software offerings for commercial fleets. This hybrid position requires you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product initiatives that align with our strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete product lifecycle from conception through development, launch, and ongoing support, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Market and Customer Insight: Cultivate a thorough understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements to guide the development of innovative, customer-focused products.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work in tandem with senior leadership, engineering, design, and other key stakeholders to establish priorities and ensure effective execution of product strategies.
- Execution Excellence: Maintain high standards in product quality and user experience by actively participating in requirement documentation, design evaluations, and customer interactions.
- Leadership Communication: Regularly engage with senior leadership to present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, particularly in large-scale software environments.
- Proven experience in developing SaaS products tailored for both small and large enterprises.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic mindset capable of evaluating options and making informed decisions.
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to act decisively while exercising sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional skills that would be advantageous include:
- Experience in leadership or mentorship roles, demonstrating the ability to inspire and guide teams.
- Familiarity with vehicle telematics and the fleet management sector.
- Experience in e-commerce product development and driving product-led growth.
