Position Overview
As a Senior Product Manager for Chevrolet's Commercial Software Platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our software offerings for commercial fleets. This hybrid position requires you to collaborate with teams in both Warren, MI and Mountain View, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete product lifecycle from conception through development, beta testing, launch, and ongoing support, ensuring alignment with customer and business objectives.
  • Market and Customer Analysis: Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics to guide the development of user-focused products.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, design, engineering, and other departments to synchronize priorities, secure stakeholder support, and drive successful product execution.
  • Execution Excellence: Maintain high standards in product quality and performance. Engage actively in drafting and reviewing product specifications, assessing design proposals, participating in customer discussions, and mentoring junior product managers.
  • Leadership Communication: Regularly engage with senior leadership to present product strategies, roadmaps, and performance reviews. Document product requirements to facilitate design and engineering efforts.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, specifically in large-scale software development.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing SaaS products for both small and large enterprises.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to evaluate options, make informed trade-offs, and develop clear, actionable plans.
  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to make swift, sound decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
Additional skills that would be advantageous include:
  • Experience in leadership, mentorship, or team management.
  • Knowledge of vehicle telematics and the fleet management sector.
  • Experience leading product teams with a focus on both internal and external customers.
  • Background in developing e-commerce solutions and driving product-led growth.
  • Experience in commercial or B2B sales or product management.
