Senior Product Manager

The Staff Product Manager for Fleet API & Data Services is a pivotal role that requires a hybrid work model, with a minimum of three in-office days per week. This position is crucial for steering the future of Chevrolet's fleet telematics, aimed at enhancing fleet management and rental operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy Development: Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Chevrolet's Fleet Telemetry APIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer demands.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to identify, develop, and validate customer value propositions.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from problem identification and ideation to execution and post-launch analysis.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the needs and challenges faced by fleet management and rental services, translating findings into actionable product specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across user experience, engineering, finance, and marketing to ensure successful product delivery.
- Security and Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and privacy policies to protect sensitive information and adhere to industry standards.
- Performance Assessment: Utilize analytical skills to evaluate product performance and inform strategic decisions regarding enhancements or discontinuations.
- Metrics Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management for B2B or B2C software services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong customer empathy and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in implementing data protection measures and compliance standards.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with SaaS and DaaS products, as well as microservices architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent experience.
- Background in fleet services or connected vehicle technology.
- Understanding of electric vehicles and related infrastructure.
