We are seeking a highly qualified and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Compliance Officer to become a vital part of our organization. This role is ideal for individuals with a robust understanding of security protocols and a commitment to upholding information security standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess client security control needs.
- Implement security measures within the Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST).
- Conduct yearly evaluations of security controls for each MCCAST record through testing, examination, or interviews.
- Develop, disseminate, and maintain documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures related to the security of network systems.
- Review and authorize System Authorization Access Requests (SAARs), ensure training prerequisites are fulfilled, and manage record retention.
- Engage in the Removable Media Whitelisting Program (necessary for obtaining and maintaining a Remedy account).
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the organization’s cybersecurity measures to guarantee they deliver the intended protection level.
- Contribute to the information security training and awareness initiatives.
- Participate in risk assessments during the Security Assessment and Authorization process.
- Identify security needs specific to information technology systems throughout all stages of the system life cycle.
Essential Requirements:
- CNSSI 4014 - Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO).
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience with Marine Corps Information Security programs, authorization protocols, and requirements, along with engagement with higher military headquarters.
- Certified Authorization Professional (CAP).
- GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC).
- CID M09BNJ1 Cybersecurity Technician.
- CID N23CUW1 Joint Cyber Analysis.
- Bachelor's degree.
- CNSSI 4012 - Senior Systems Managers.
- CNSSI 4013 - System Administrators.
- CNSSI 4015 - Systems Certifiers.
- CNSSI 4016 - Risk Analysts.
- NDU CISO certificate – Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
