Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing inspection, validation, and quality assurance projects for our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and resources with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer and service location personnel, serving as the main point of contact for project-related matters.
  • Project Documentation: Support the development of project documentation, including plans, reports, schedules, and budgets.
  • Project Tracking: Help maintain project tracking systems, ensuring all project information is current and accessible.
  • Communication: Prepare and deliver project-related presentations and updates for internal teams and clients as required.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to support project goals and identify potential risks or improvement opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication across team members to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and following up on action items relating to the assigned customers/projects.
  • Post-Project Reviews: Participate in post-project reviews and contribute to lessons learned and process improvement initiatives.
  • Supplier Quality Performance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement supplier quality performance objectives.
  • Quality Initiatives: Recommend initiatives, including process improvements and corrective action plans, to drive product quality, reliability, and cost reductions.
  • Quality Issue Resolution: Rapidly identify, isolate, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of customer quality issues.
  • Service Location Processes: Understand service location processes and its effect on customers' parts.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers and service location staff, assisting them in resolving quality-related challenges and implementing best practices.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in manufacturing and quality assurance.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customer and service location team members, including engineering, quality, logistics, procurement, and production teams, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and expectations.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify leads and generate new business opportunities for the Company.
  • Documentation: Document and update notes, audits, issues, contacts, parts, and supplier information in software systems.
  • Company Core Values: Promote proper work ethic and demonstrate the Company's Core Values, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Customer and Service Location Requirements: Comply with all customer and service location requirements, including, but not limited to, health/safety training and vaccination status.
  • Technology Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency using technology, including, but not limited to, smartphones, keyboards, hand tools, and measurement devices.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate the ability to use written and verbal communication skills to deal effectively with diverse groups of people, including proficiency in using a telephone/cellphone.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels, inside and outside the Company.
  • Project and Time Management: Demonstrate solid project and time management capabilities, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Quality Analysis Tools: Demonstrate proficiency in quality analysis tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Measurement Gauges: Demonstrate proficiency in using measurement gauges (calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, etc.) and understanding prints and engineering drawings.
  • Travel: Travel to Company facilities, customer locations, or alternate service locations as assigned. Must be able to drive on behalf of the Company and/or customers if required.
  • Flexibility: Maintain flexibility to work additional hours as needed during busy periods or to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing work demands and schedules, including occasional mandatory overtime. Mandatory overtime may be required, with compensation provided in accordance with Company policies and local labor laws.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license
  • GD&T Concepts: Read, understand, measure, and implement GD&T concepts from engineering blueprints
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient ability utilizing Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel software
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective reading, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Quality Department Experience: Minimum 1 year experience working in a quality department position for a manufacturing operation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Quality Assurance Certifications: Quality Assurance certifications for manufacturing
  • ISO 13485 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience working in an ISO 13485 medical device manufacturing environment
  • ISO 13485 Auditor Certification: ISO 13485 / FDA 820 medical device auditor certification
  • Laboratory Measurement Devices: Ability and experience using laboratory measurement devices such microscopes, optical comparators, quality gages
  • Clean Room Processes: Experience in clean room processes for inspection and packaging environments
