Job Overview

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Front Desk Manager or Shift Manager, the individual in this role is accountable for all aspects related to the check-in, check-out, and hospitality services for hotel patrons.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet hotel guests with warmth and ensure a smooth registration, arrival, and departure experience for all visitors.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the hotel and surrounding attractions to effectively guide guests, including providing reading materials.
  • Coordinate with Customer Care for upcoming reservations through phone communications.
  • Assist in securing reservations for walk-in guests.
  • Address guest inquiries and liaise with other departments regarding those requests.
  • Offer alternative solutions to guests when their requests cannot be fulfilled.
  • Provide bell service assistance to guests upon their departure.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, including assisting Rooms Control based on operational needs.
  • Comply with all protocols and guidelines pertaining to the property, including sanitizing high-touch areas prior to guest registration.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education is required, with prior front desk or hotel experience preferred, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Strong mathematical skills relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
  • Effective communication skills in English, particularly related to the duties and responsibilities of the role.
