Job Overview

The Front Desk Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for all guests at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City. Under the supervision of the Front Desk Manager or Shift Manager, this position encompasses all aspects of guest arrivals, departures, and hotel services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, facilitating a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of the hotel and surrounding attractions to provide insightful recommendations and distribute relevant materials to guests.
  • Coordinate with Customer Care for future bookings via phone communication.
  • Assist walk-in guests with reservation needs.
  • Address guest inquiries and liaise with other departments to fulfill those requests.
  • Offer alternative solutions when guest requests cannot be accommodated.
  • Provide bell assistance to guests upon their departure.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned, including supporting Rooms Control based on operational needs.
  • Follow all property protocols and guidelines, ensuring cleanliness of high-touch areas prior to guest registration.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with prior experience in front desk operations or hospitality preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong mathematical skills relevant to the position.
  • Effective communication skills in English, particularly in relation to guest interactions and responsibilities.
