We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Specialist to join our team at Masco Canada. As a key member of our Heavy Commercial Sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the commercial plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key specifiers, architects, engineers, and contractors to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Target new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing new customers, including commercial property management companies, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies, including product training and specification packages.
  • Participate in local industry organizations and trade shows to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers, including on-site product service and repair.
  • Manage and maintain a database of key influencers and customers, including detailed profiles and sales history.
  • Assist in forecasting sales and managing project pipelines, including setting goals and implementing strategies to achieve outstanding results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, management, design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of specification selling experience in the commercial plumbing industry.
  • Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of plumbing systems and products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel 5-8 nights per month, on average, including overnight stays and weekend work.
