Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale, tenant-occupied affordable housing projects in the Virginia Beach area. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex construction projects and possess strong knowledge of mechanical systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scope Management: Prepare comprehensive scopes and RFPs for project stakeholders.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Execute subcontractor bidding procedures, including Scopes of Work, Bid Lists, and Unit Cost Bid Comparisons.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Create comprehensive project schedules and manage budgets to ensure timely completion.
  • Communication and Team Management: Interface with owners, architects, and engineers to ensure project success and motivate subcontractors to meet project requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in occupied multi-family residential units.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of the construction process and management techniques, methods, and materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in Timberline and BlueBeam being a plus.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
