Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Construction Project Manager.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects from start to finish. This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising production and workforce to ensure timely completion within budget.

You will collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to ensure project compliance with contract drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning work methods, materials, equipment needs, and work schedules for assigned project work
  • Reviewing daily work schedules with direct reports and updating weekly schedules based on project feedback
  • Reviewing and understanding project specifications to support job set-up activities
  • Working with work crews, field engineers, and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on the job site
  • Coordinating with internal equipment teams and external vendors to ensure project work is equipped with necessary equipment and material quantities to complete production within assigned budget and schedule
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 15 years of heavy civil construction experience
  • 5+ years of construction management experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree (optional)
  • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification (optional)
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability to enforce project safety programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of local union or prevailing wage rules (if applicable)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract-specific plans and specifications
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals geometry
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD $120,000 - $145,000 per year.
