Job Summary

Flatiron Construction seeks a seasoned Construction Scheduler to develop, monitor, and manage multiple schedules for medium to large construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and project controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage conceptual, bidding, and final project schedules from preliminary and ongoing project information.
  • Attend job site meetings and work with stakeholders to develop project schedules.
  • Create standard and custom graphs and charts for site personnel to manage the project.
  • Maintain a database of activity groups with as-built information for future use and reference.
  • Prepare Time Impact Analysis for identified risks to schedule and budget.
  • Provide support and guidance to ensure baseline schedule submission is timely, complete, accurate, and compliant with standard company procedures.
  • Assist with schedule maintenance and change order management.
  • Participate in financial and legal project reviews to evaluate and mitigate schedule risk.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 10+ years of heavy civil construction scheduler experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Proven skill and ability to identify and mitigate scheduling issues for simple and complex construction projects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others and prioritize tasks.
