Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced civil engineer to provide comprehensive planning and design services while overseeing team operations on diverse projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, assessment, and finalization of site plan designs.
  • Represent the firm at local municipal meetings and hearings, including providing expert testimony.
  • Draft and review project technical specifications.
  • Engage and collaborate effectively with clients.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.
  • Supervise and manage the activities of the design team.
  • Administer public bidding processes.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies on external matters.
  • Evaluate and test septic systems and soil conditions.

Qualifications:

Preferred Skills:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in municipal and civil land development.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing expert testimony.
  • Possession of a New Jersey Professional Engineering (P.E.) license.
  • Pennsylvania P.E. license is advantageous.
  • NJ CME certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, county, and state land use regulations and standards.
  • Expertise in site grading design, stormwater management, and hydraulic analysis.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Experience in preparing technical specifications, cost estimates, and managing public bids.
  • Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in municipal and civil land development.
  • Proven track record of providing expert witness services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • New Jersey Professional Engineering (P.E.) license required.
  • Pennsylvania P.E. license is a plus.
  • NJ CME certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of local, county, and state land use regulations.
  • Proficient in site grading design, stormwater management, and hydraulic analysis.
  • Highly skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
