Job Summary

Terracon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Alternate Delivery organization. This role involves providing engineering and consulting services for transportation projects across the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and lead field investigations, engineering analysis, and design for transportation projects.
  • Develop and review plans, specifications, and reports for geotechnical engineering services.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Manage and coordinate geotechnical engineering projects, including site characterization, geotechnical design, and construction monitoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8-11 years' experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Transportation experience with DOTs is required.
