Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at DH Pace Company, Inc. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering business solutions that resolve complex issues. You will work closely with the Information Systems team to implement new business systems and assist with the daily operations of existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business solutions using various technologies.
  • Evaluate business processes and workflow to identify areas for improvement.
  • Consult with users and Information Services departments to determine needs and design technology-based solutions.
  • Work with business personnel to define requirements, processes, and projects.
  • Implement systems into the business environment and assist with project documentation and training.
  • Respond to user issues and requests for enhancements and keep systems available by resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate project progress and status to the Manager and other development team members.
  • Evaluate existing applications and systems and recommend improvements or modifications using current technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience designing and developing business solutions/systems.
  • Three or more years of experience being part of a cross-functional team resolving business issues.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Required Skills: Understanding of OOP, Git, SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL), C# / .NET, ASP.Core, ODATA / REST services and SOA.
  • Preferred Skills: Blazor, Bootstrap, Oracle, PL/SQL Developer.
  • Bonus Skills: .NET MAUI / Xamarin, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose.
