Job Overview

The Electrical Program Coordinator will oversee the delivery of high-quality instruction, ensuring that students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their chosen field. This role involves managing faculty, mentoring, and training to ensure that students receive the best possible education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a licensed electrician. Additionally, they should have 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level and 5 years of successful leadership and management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Delivery: Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and industry partners.
  • Student Service: Provide support and guidance to students to ensure their success in the program.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical work.
  • Faculty Management, Mentoring, and Training: Lead and develop faculty to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality instruction.
  • Program Administration: Oversee the administration of the electrical program, including budgeting and resource allocation.
