Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Role PurposeThe primary function of this role is to collect essential information for medical billing and collections, ensuring timely submission to the medical billing office.
Key Responsibilities- Gather necessary details for accurate billing of anesthesia claims, including charges, patient demographics, operative reports, and consent forms.
- Scan and transmit charges to the home office.
- Reconcile charges with the operating room schedule.
- Assist in various tasks to ensure precise billing of anesthesia services.
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform additional duties as required by the client.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
- Familiarity with basic office equipment such as printers, phones, faxes, and copiers.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
The role necessitates the physical ability to sit, talk, and hear for extended periods; stand, walk, push/pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach occasionally. Frequent repetitive hand motions, including fingering, grasping, and handling, are required. The ability to read handwritten and typed documents on paper and/or computer screens is essential. Travel to various hospital sites may be necessary to collect anesthesia charges.
