Job Title: Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator

At BronxCare Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator to join our team. As an Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the coordination of nursing care on a shift within a specific unit, assisting the Nurse Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees, interacting professionally, courteously, and appropriately.
  • Contribute to and participate in Performance/Quality Improvement activities, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of risk management and claims activities.
  • Administer nursing care based on scientific and therapeutic principles, demonstrating a competent level of technical skill.
  • Coordinate staff activities in the performance of the nursing process, ensuring patient needs are met through the assignment of appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in patient care conferences, reviews, and analyzes trends pertinent to the delivery of nursing care, recommending relevant innovations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates leadership abilities, commitment to continuing professional development, and a NYS Registered Professional Nurse License.
  • Bachelor's in Nursing or related field.
