The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by managing various administrative tasks and providing assistance to team members and applicants.
- Manage incoming calls for the Human Resources department.
- Welcome applicants, team members, and management personnel.
- Support HR staff across multiple functions as a generalist.
- Distribute applications to prospective candidates.
- Input applicant information into the HR system.
- Prepare application packets for distribution.
- Handle departmental mail and correspondence.
- Compile and review Benefit Reports as required.
- Issue parking cards to team members as necessary.
- Maintain and update HR forms, documents, and resources.
- Coordinate monthly benefits enrollment processes.
- Prepare and dispatch Cobra notifications.
- Send 401K letters to eligible employees.
- Assist the Benefits Manager with various benefits-related events.
- Organize and maintain benefit files.
- Facilitate benefits information sessions during Orientation.
- Support employee relations initiatives, including sign-ups and mail-outs (e.g., movie tickets, name tags, birthday cards, bus passes).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with relevant individuals regarding significant issues.
- Exhibit a courteous, friendly, and helpful demeanor towards guests, management, and colleagues.
- Participate in relevant hotel meetings and training sessions.
- Encourage and apply teamwork principles consistently.
- Adhere to emergency protocols in line with hotel standards.
- Follow safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Comply with hotel and departmental standards and guidelines.
- Stay informed about hotel updates and changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and guest relations skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
- Typing speed of 45 WPM or higher.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative office setting.
