Job Title: Territory Sales Specialist

At TELA Bio, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue and exceeding division priorities in the Burbank/Encino CA territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and exceed division priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, including physicians, nurses, and hospital management.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Operations team to ensure successful outcomes for clients in the assigned territory.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business plans to ensure short-term revenue objectives are met while longer-term opportunities are also developed and optimized.
  • Maintain and update the CRM database with up-to-date client information.
  • Participate in national and regional commercial team meetings and calls to share best practices and ensure success is replicated across the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or minimum 2+ years of successful sales experience in the life science industry, preferably in the biologics space.
  • Experience handling biologic tissue-based materials.
  • Knowledge of clinical needs of physicians and mechanisms of action of host response to biologic implants.
  • Ability to identify new market opportunities for biologic constructs based on unmet needs of general and reconstructive surgeons.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
Working Conditions:

This position works in a home office, hospital, HCP office, or clinical environment. Frequent travel within the territory is required, with up to 50% travel to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
