MBSE Systems Engineer

Arcfield is seeking a highly skilled MBSE Systems Engineer to join our team of experts in digital transformation, space mission engineering, and launch assurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing mission models using a MBSE tool suite, including Cameo and other COTS tools.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Mission Models: Assess engineering artifacts and develop models of mission systems using a MBSE tool suite that includes Cameo and other COTS tools.
- Apply Systems Engineering Modeling Methodologies: Apply systems engineering modeling methodologies to develop mission models. Knowledge of DoDAF with UPDM or UAF meta-model frameworks is desired.
- Integrate Enterprise Tools: Integrate enterprise tools and develop MBSE-based processes to support requirements engineering, the customer's ERB process, CONOPS and architecture development, Risk, Issues and Opportunity Management boards, schedule management, test and verification strategy development, and system integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Facilitate collaborative meetings between the MBSE modelers and stakeholders to deliver mission needs and help innovate potential solutions.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Provides technical advice and guidance regarding the creation and implementation of new MBSE methods and techniques.
- TS/SCI Clearance with Poly: Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Poly.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or related STEM degree program.
- Experience: Required experience: 8-10 years with BS or 6-8 years with MS.
- MBSE Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of UML / SysML modeling languages and experience applying this common structure to an MBSE solution.
- Cameo Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of Cameo or other UML based Architecture modeling tools.
- DoDAF Knowledge: Knowledge of standard DoDAF architectural frameworks to include UPDM and/or UAF.
- Systems Engineering Experience: Experience with systems engineering processes in support of system life cycle development.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and the ability to relate professionally in the work environment with customers and colleagues.
- Reliability: Responsible and reliable; follows up on actions and the ability to multitask.
- Passion for Learning: A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible.
