At Solvarus Consulting, we are dedicated to tackling the most pressing challenges faced by the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. Our team of proficient engineers is focused on creating a Digital Engineering environment that effectively addresses these issues.

As a member of Solvarus, you will work collaboratively within various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to architect and design pioneering Space and Ground solutions. These initiatives will leverage advanced Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, concentrating on communication, processing, and command & control between space and ground systems. You will collaborate closely with experts in SIGINT and GEOINT to develop mission-centric MBSE models.

Be part of our mission to advance the adoption of MBSE within the Intelligence Community and take advantage of training opportunities aimed at achieving Object Certified Systems Modeler Professional (OCSMP) certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop engineering artifacts and mission system models utilizing a comprehensive suite of MBSE tools.
  • Establish data standards and structures while employing various technologies to manage data requirements.
  • Integrate enterprise tools and MBSE-based processes to facilitate different aspects of system development.
  • Encourage collaboration between MBSE users and tool developers to improve modeling solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to senior management regarding the implementation of innovative MBSE methods and techniques.

Essential Skills:

  • 0 to 5 years of experience with a BS/BA degree or 2 to 3 years with an MS/MA degree.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
  • A degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard MBSE tools and methodologies, with familiarity in UML/SysML modeling languages.
  • Basic understanding of systems engineering processes coupled with strong communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DoDAF, UPDM, and/or UAF frameworks.
