Customer Service Representative Job Description

MCI Careers is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences through phone, email, and chat interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize knowledge base and training to accurately answer customer questions and provide solutions
  • Escalate complex issues to management as needed
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and product knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software
