Greenwich, Connecticut, United States Spire Orthopedic Partners Full time
Job Overview

About Us:

Spire Orthopedic Partners is a rapidly expanding national coalition of orthopedic practices, dedicated to providing the essential support, financial resources, and operational expertise that physicians require to cultivate successful practices for the future. As a Management Services Organization (MSO), Spire offers the foundational infrastructure for administrative functions, enabling practices to perform at their peak, allowing healthcare providers to concentrate on what truly matters – delivering exceptional patient care. Our network, rooted in a legacy of over a century, spans the Northeast and continues to grow.

Our Physical Therapy Division:

We are a vibrant and collaborative group of professionals with varied specialties, committed to assisting patients in reaching their functional objectives and returning to the activities they cherish. Our team includes experts in Orthopedic and Sports Clinical Specialties, Women's Health, and Geriatric Care, with several clinicians holding McKenzie Certification. We prioritize a patient-centered methodology, fostering a supportive work atmosphere where innovative treatments such as Blood Flow Restriction (BFR), Dry Needling, myofascial release, and various taping techniques are employed.

Our distinctive patient care model allows for extended one-on-one sessions, ensuring sufficient time to enhance each patient's treatment. We maintain close collaboration with physicians, conduct monthly journal clubs, and invest in generous continuing education opportunities, including a complimentary Medbridge account. Team members can participate in community marketing events, reinforcing our dedication to community involvement.

As affiliates of multiple Physical Therapy programs in the region, we actively engage in the education and mentorship of aspiring Physical Therapists. New graduates are welcomed with mentorship opportunities through regular meetings with seasoned clinicians, ensuring a nurturing and enriching environment for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services, performing comprehensive evaluations and administering treatments in strict compliance with state regulations, professional ethical standards, and established protocols.
  • Design, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions, demonstrating proficiency in a wide array of techniques, including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy (encompassing soft tissue and joint mobilization), physical agents or modalities, and thorough patient education, including home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and clear documentation, including initial evaluations, SOAP notes, and detailed flow sheets for each patient visit. Conduct timely reevaluations and document patient discharges.
  • Ensure documentation practices comply with all relevant laws and regulatory standards. Uphold complete and precise billing practices, assisting the front desk in maintaining authorizations for optimal operational efficiency.
  • Implement physical therapy practices with a primary focus on safety, minimizing risks to patients, oneself, and others in the work environment.
  • Stay updated in the field by regularly enhancing clinical skills through participation in continuing education programs, engaging with professional contacts, and staying informed through journal articles and active involvement in relevant professional organizations.
  • Contribute to in-service presentations, sharing knowledge and insights gained from continuing education courses, promoting a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, taking responsibility for the care and upkeep of facility equipment. Promptly report any malfunctioning equipment for swift resolution.
  • Adhere to a consistent and appropriate work schedule, demonstrating punctuality and professionalism. Avoid excessive tardiness or absenteeism to maintain a reliable presence within the team.
  • Proactively communicate issues or concerns to the Physical Therapy Director, fostering open communication channels and contributing to a solution-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Hold a valid physical therapy license or demonstrate eligibility and commitment to obtaining licensure in the state of employment.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, coupled with exceptional customer service abilities, to build rapport with patients and positively influence the team dynamic.
  • Demonstrate effective organizational skills, ensuring the efficient management of patient caseloads, documentation, and other administrative tasks.
  • Show a genuine commitment to providing outstanding clinical care, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of each patient.
What We Provide:
  • Excellent opportunities for professional growth, including a clinical ladder framework for advancement within the organization.
  • A dynamic work environment focused on addressing the underlying mechanical causes of dysfunction and pain.
  • Access to a network of skilled practitioners with extensive experience in diverse treatment techniques.
  • A comprehensive infrastructure of tools and programs designed to enhance the employee experience.
  • Competitive compensation, including productivity bonuses.
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and time off.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO).
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) options.
