Job Title: Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Travel Assignment

Location: Skilled Nursing Facility

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8 hours

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement selected components of patient treatment
  • Obtain data related to the intervention provided and make modifications to either progress the patient as directed by the Physical Therapist or to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Graduate with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and pass the National Certification Exam
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred
  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) State licensure or be eligible for state licensure
  • Current CPR card or certificate
