Position Overview:

We are in search of a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide essential care in a home health setting. The PTA will work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring patients receive high-quality therapeutic support.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients in executing their treatment plans and engaging in therapeutic activities.
  • Administer manual physical exercises and provide instruction and encouragement for non-manual exercises, mobility activities, and daily living tasks.
  • Evaluate and interpret patient assessments and test results to help formulate effective physical therapy treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services in compliance with relevant legal and professional standards.
  • Conduct follow-up visits with home health orthopedic patients to monitor progress.
  • Ensure eligibility requirements for home health services are consistently met.
  • Perform maintenance therapy as required.
  • Driving to patient locations is a necessary component of this role.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Possession of valid state licensure.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in home health as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
