Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Track Laborer - Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining railroad track infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain railroad track infrastructure, including tracks, switches, and crossings
  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as loading and unloading materials, and constructing and repairing track infrastructure
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as cranes and excavators, to perform track maintenance and repair tasks
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet performance metrics and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 3-6 months of job-related experience or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • CDL required (or must be obtained)
  • Ability to pass Track Ground School, GCOR Written Test, and other required training and certification programs
