Job Description

Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, while maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures.
  • Enforce compliance with all employment policies and oversee the cleanliness of the restaurant and safety of guests at all times.
  • Direct productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times.
  • Manage the performance of Back of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  • Assist with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones.
  • Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks as part of overall responsibility for inventory and safety in the kitchen.
  • Oversee the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
  • Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs.
  • Direct work for Back of House employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules, and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant.
  • Train Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Review applications, interview, and hire or make recommendation to hire Back of House employees.
  • Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a team and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
