Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Level Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, design, and production of electrical engineering projects, including lighting, power, and grounding plans, one-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the completion of electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers and electrical teammates.
  • Provide design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for medium/low voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, lightning protection systems, grounding systems, communications systems, and electrical equipment design.
  • Assist with the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects and assist with evaluation of project scopes.
  • Assist in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree Preferred.
  • 1 year of related experience in medium/low voltage power distribution systems, grounding systems, lighting systems, communications systems, electrical equipment design, and selective coordination and arc flash studies.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit is required. Proficiency in ETAP or EasyPower and AGI32 is preferred.
Working Conditions

The majority of work is office-based. Some site visits may be required, which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
