Electrical Engineer Job Description

We're seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team, who will assist in the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and designs for assigned projects.

As an Electrical Engineer at I.C. Thomasson, you will use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents, assist in client contact and communication, and team with senior engineers to observe and learn from their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and designs for assigned projects.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
  • Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
  • Team with senior engineers and participate in their work as an observer.
  • Operate engineering software to solve specific problems and input required data.
  • Familiarize yourself with state-of-the-art design and various state and local regulations.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or other relevant degree from an ABET-accredited school.
  • Past experience through co-op or summer internships is helpful.
  • E.I.T. is a plus.
