About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Vail Resorts, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, sauces, stocks, and entrees, to a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and quality.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes, ensuring they meet the company's quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
