Job Summary

ManTech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and configure computer systems, network servers, and virtualization to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
  • Perform Kubernetes system administration in a DevOps continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment.
  • Design the architecture for an enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure to support a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance, and monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of position-specific relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.
  • DoD m- IAT Level II Certification must be obtained within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
  • CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP certifications are preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time and must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
