Job Title: Electrical Superintendent


We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Superintendent to join our team in the Southeast Region. This is a full-time regular position that requires travel up to 50% of the time. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all contract obligations, estimating and managing construction and/or maintenance projects, and ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.


Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Communicate with site managers to ensure current staffing levels and future needs are met.




  • Coordinate with the HR department to recruit, interview, and hire approved candidates.




  • Manage personnel changes, including placement, promotion, performance reviews, safety adherence, leave of absence, and terminations.




  • Assess project scope and assist the team in meeting client needs.




  • Estimate and budget projects, create bid documents, and prepare proposal forms.




  • Bid and procure work, using systems to manage contract documents, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFI's).




  • Supervise and coordinate construction with ongoing operations to meet contract standards for schedule, systems commissioning, project closeout, quality, and safety.




  • Oversee and support processing of contract weekly labor payroll and send to payroll for accuracy.




  • Conduct new hire safety video training and periodic safety audits, responding to incidents and injuries according to MOR PPM Safety department procedures.




  • Communicate and report to the Regional Manager on a weekly basis and immediately for all incidents.




Requirements:




  • 4 years as a JM Level Electrician Required




  • At least 2 years of Foreman/GF experience




  • At least 2 years' experience in walking down jobs and preparing estimates




  • Experience tracking cost and construction data using excel spreadsheets or industry software




  • JM or master's Electrical License preferred




  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent




  • Experience in paper mills, fossil fuel power plants, and/or industrial manufacturing is required




  • Experience with MS Office software, O365 preferred in windows, web, and mobile versions




Skills and Licenses:




  • Possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment




  • Possess ability to work collaboratively and provide high-level customer service




  • Possess exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills




  • Must be able to work non-traditional shifts as required by the client with short notice




  • Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record




Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:




  • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign




  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds




  • Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform technical duties and essential functions




  • Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas




  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age




  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders




  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises




  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces




  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
