About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Superintendent. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our sustainable infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project execution by providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop effective solutions
  • Provide input on project schedules and progress, and assist in the development of project plans and reports
  • Assist in the selection, ordering, and delivery of materials and equipment, and ensure compliance with specifications and local codes
  • Oversee project construction to ensure compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and customers, and ensure effective issue resolution
  • Assist in the development of project estimates and quotations, and provide input on project financials
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including documentation, logging of changes, and progress updates
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent work-related experience
  • Minimum 4 years of installation and crew leadership experience in the building construction industry
  • Experience with lighting, HVAC controls, electrical systems, solar systems, BAS management, fire management, and security management systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment
  • Ability to travel extensively, as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to identify and document various types of systems and propose alternatives
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers, subcontractors, and labor populations
