Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Accountant to join our team at To Help Everyone Health & Wellness Centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the grants budgets, ensuring financial compliance, and providing timely reporting to funders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage grants funds, including budget monitoring, revisions, and reallocation requests.
- Monitor actual grants expenses to ensure compliance with donor contractual requirements.
- Track deliverables for each grant and provide timely reporting to funders.
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets to maintain grant data, prepare backup documentation, process invoices, and reconcile discrepancies.
Requirements:
- College degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in non-profit accounting and financial systems.
- Knowledge and experience in healthcare finance, including third-party reimbursement mechanisms and federal guidelines.
- Supervisory experience is a must.
- Proficiency in automated accounting and billing systems, with experience in Fund Accounting software preferred.
