Job Summary

The Grants Accountant III is a key member of the finance team at the Coalition for Responsible Community Dev, responsible for managing a team of grant accountants and reviewing and monitoring government and foundation grants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and grant management, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of grant accountants and provide guidance on grant management and accounting procedures
  • Review and monitor government and foundation grants, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including grantors and program staff
  • Collaborate with finance staff and program managers to ensure accurate and timely grant billing and reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with laws and regulations related to grant management and accounting

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in accounting, business, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in accounting or grant management
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in accounting or related field
  • Experience in non-profit industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
