Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish subcontractor agreements for field teams on new projects and effectively manage change orders.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating and monitoring all necessary field inspections by regulatory authorities. Maintain permit cards and strategic plans to meet client demands efficiently.
  • Oversee daily job site supervision of all construction activities, ensuring timely coordination and execution while maintaining rigorous quality control.
  • Identify field issues early and secure prompt resolutions.
  • Ensure timely and effective project startup, including all temporary facilities (e.g., portable toilets, project signage).
  • Resolve subcontractor disputes and field issues creatively and effectively to minimize additional costs.
  • Manage timely and effective demobilization upon project completion, including the removal of all temporary facilities and services.
  • Assist the Project Manager in budget control, demonstrating sound fiscal judgment with expenditures and managing rentals responsibly.
  • Review and gain a comprehensive understanding of all contract documents to manage the project effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring subcontractor cleanup is effectively controlled.
  • Order materials efficiently with a well-structured scheduling approach.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the construction site and the office, maintaining open communication with the project manager regarding production status and promptly addressing any issues.
  • Engage in regular client communication, providing updates on project progress and ensuring satisfaction by swiftly resolving any emerging problems.
  • Lead the training, mentoring, and supervision of field crews, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback to team members for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in production management.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Advanced proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills essential for effective team management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to address production challenges promptly.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsible.
  • Familiarity with Buildertrend software is advantageous, though not required.

Additional Notes:

- Employees may work more or less than 8 hours in a day or exceed 40 hours in any workweek.
