Job Summary

Alura Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Program Director to join our team. As a key member of our mental health organization, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations and providing leadership to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Assist the Program Director in supervising staff and overseeing clinical operations.
    • Provide clinical supervision hours for BBS registered staff and interns.
  • Program Development
    • Assist in developing and implementing clinical programs and services.
    • Recruit and hire clinical staff.
  • Training and Education
    • Plan and implement clinical training for staff.
    • Train and supervise new therapists and case aides.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure compliance with DMH and Gateways' documentation requirements.
    • Participate in educational seminars and inter/intra-agency meetings.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare reports and presentations.
    • Provide on-call coverage for emergency consultation and intervention.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work or psychology.
  • LCSW or licensed Psychologist – Eligible to complete appropriate clinical supervision training to supervise registered MFT or MSW interns or other designated disciplines.
  • Pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
  • Valid California Driver's license.
  • TB clearance.
  • Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier.
  • Fire and Safety Training.
  • First Aid Training Certification.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI).
