Academic Professional and Administrative Position

The University of Minnesota is seeking a qualified individual to fill a Teaching Specialist/Lecturer position in the Institute of Child Development. This is a temporary, non-tenured Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) position, paid on a per course basis.
Job Responsibilities- Teach assigned in-person or online courses at the undergraduate or graduate level, focusing on topics such as infant/adolescent development, cognitive development, language development, social and emotional development, and disabilities and development.
- Prepare course materials, including syllabi, and attend all class meetings.
- Grade student materials, including exams, papers, presentations, and final exams, and submit grades.
- Respond to student inquiries via email, phone, or in person, and be available for scheduled office hours.
- Master's degree relevant to the teaching assignment is required for appointment as Teaching Specialist.
- Doctorate or terminal degree relevant to the teaching assignment is required for appointment as Lecturer.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with people from diverse communities, backgrounds, and identities.
