Position Summary

We are seeking a Sales Consultant to be a key player in our Door 2 Door Energy Awareness initiative. This role is essential in transforming how we engage with HVAC customers. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our outreach program, with the exciting chance to develop your own team and enhance your earning potential. This full-time position will report to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on leads in collaboration with Inside Sales colleagues.
  • Conduct daily outreach by visiting numerous residences.
  • Entry Level Representatives will aim for 5+ consultations per Project Manager, while Elite Level Representatives will target 10+.
  • Utilize the Spotio app to categorize homes in designated areas.
  • Make follow-up calls regarding missed consultations.
  • Engage in discussions with Project Managers about prior consultations.
  • Develop Hatch Campaigns to reconnect with homeowners.
  • Participate in daily role-playing and skill development with fellow team members.
  • Work hours are from 12 PM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday and Sunday availability.
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of scheduling consultations.
  • Master the techniques of overcoming objections through comprehensive training.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to company dress standards.
  • Address customer concerns, negotiate value, and close sales effectively.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork related to leads.
  • Maintain a lead generation ratio of 33% or higher.
  • Be readily available by phone, except during scheduled time off.
  • Engage in all company-sponsored training sessions.
  • Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in door-to-door sales.
  • No experience? No problem We provide exceptional training to help you succeed in this field.
  • Strong skills in building relationships and a customer-centric approach.
  • A valid driver's license is required for all candidates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work within a team.
  • This position offers a compensation structure based on commission or hourly pay plus commission.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • 10% of the role is office-based, 10% involves travel, and 80% is conducted outdoors.
  • Physical activities include standing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
  • Work in various weather conditions, including wind, rain, heat, or snow.
  • Occasional lifting of 5-10 pounds may be required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Capable of walking long distances in challenging weather.
