About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Lifecycle Services team at Rockwell Automation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the deployment of Resource Management functionality in our PSA Global Resource Management Acceleration Initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the global transformation of resource assignment, intelligent staffing, availability, and other main functions provided by the PSA tool for the LCS regional and business organizations through phased deployments.
  • Develop project plans from conception through to close, and deliver presentations and training courses, including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control courses.
  • As the Resource Management lead, you will have responsibility to understand the needs of the LCS Global Business and their partners to lead efficiency, improve business processes, and support strategic goals.
  • Analyze and evaluate requirements, consult with personnel from different departments, and identify areas to develop technical solutions to automate and improve business processes.
  • Train, lead, and provide technical guidance to professional and technical staff assigned to business systems analysis, and direct the work of peers and subordinate professional Information Technology staff on assigned projects.
  • Be the project lead over large business automation projects, develop and monitor project budgets and resources, and interface with clients to define project scope and review project activities, recommendations, and outcomes.
  • Ensure processes within the functional domain are appropriate, documented, and aligned globally and to strategic business goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% internationally as needed during the project deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience with Resource Management processes and tools, with preferred experience/expertise with Certinia PSA Resource Management (and/or other modern Resource Management tools).
  • Understanding of current state Resource Management methods and tools used today across Lifecycle Services segment at Rockwell Automation.
  • Experience leading previous software deployments.
  • Articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Forward looking with a comprehensive approach.
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
