Position Overview
In the role of Global Resource Management Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in spearheading the implementation of Resource Management capabilities within the PSA Global Resource Management Acceleration Initiative. You will oversee the global transformation of resource allocation, intelligent staffing, availability, and other essential functions provided by the PSA tool for the Lifecycle Services (LCS) regional and business units through systematic deployments. Additionally, you will serve as the Workstream lead for all matters related to 'Resource Management' within our Project Delivery Operations team, acting as the Global Process Owner for 'Resource Management' across LCS while collaborating with regional process owners and workforce planning teams.
Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive project plans from inception to completion, delivering presentations, and conducting training sessions that encompass measurement, analysis, improvement, and control methodologies.
As the Resource Management lead, you will be tasked with understanding the requirements of the LCS Global Business and its partners to drive efficiency, enhance business processes, and support strategic objectives.
Building strong relationships across the organization will be essential to maintain support for Resource Management functions and processes. Following the PSA deployment, you will continue to provide operational support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Business Process Owner, with an ongoing focus on people, processes, and tools improvements.
You will report directly to the Manager of Project Delivery Platforms and Processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement PSA Salesforce Software for the Global Resource Management Process.
- Analyze and assess requirements, consult with various departmental personnel, and identify opportunities for developing technical solutions to automate and enhance business processes.
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to professional and technical staff engaged in business systems analysis; oversee the work of peers and subordinate IT professionals on assigned projects.
- Act as the project lead for significant business automation initiatives; develop and monitor project budgets and resources; engage with clients to define project scope and review activities, recommendations, and outcomes; coordinate project resources based on requirements; design and implement testing and quality assurance processes.
- Serve as the Global Process Owner for Resource Management.
- Ensure that processes within the functional domain are appropriate, documented, and aligned with global and strategic business objectives.
- Review, advise, and make decisions regarding process change requests, empowered by management within the functional domain.
- Review and approve process modifications and documentation.
- Enhance processes within the functional domain using data-driven KPIs, considering strategic goals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required; we do not sponsor employment visas for this position.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% as needed during project deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with Resource Management processes and tools, preferably with Certinia PSA Resource Management or similar modern tools.
- Familiarity with current Resource Management methodologies and tools utilized across the Lifecycle Services segment at Rockwell Automation.
- Experience leading software deployment projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proactive mindset with a comprehensive approach.
- Strong organizational skills with a natural inclination for strategic planning.
- Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- A collaborative team player capable of working effectively with others.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change initiatives.
