Position Overview

In the role of Global Resource Management Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in spearheading the implementation of Resource Management capabilities within the PSA Global Resource Management Acceleration Initiative. Your leadership will guide the global transformation of resource allocation, intelligent staffing, availability, and other core functionalities provided by the PSA tool for regional and business units within Lifecycle Services through systematic deployments. Additionally, you will serve as the Workstream lead for all processes and topics related to 'Resource Management' within our Project Delivery Operations team, acting as the Global Process Owner for 'Resource Management' across Lifecycle Services while collaborating with regional process owners and workforce planning teams.

Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive project plans from inception to completion, delivering presentations, and conducting training sessions focused on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control methodologies.

As the Resource Management lead, you will be tasked with understanding the requirements of the LCS Global Business and its partners to enhance efficiency, refine business processes, and support strategic objectives.

Building strong organizational relationships will be essential to ensure ongoing support for Resource Management functions and processes. Post-PSA deployment, you will continue to provide operational support as a Subject Matter Expert and Business Process Owner, maintaining a focus on the needs and enhancements of people, processes, and tools.

You will report directly to the Manager of Project Delivery Platforms and Processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement PSA Salesforce Software for Global Resource Management Processes.
  • Assess and analyze requirements, collaborating with various departments to identify opportunities for technical solutions that automate and enhance business processes.
  • Guide, mentor, and provide technical direction to both professional and technical staff engaged in business systems analysis; oversee the work of peers and junior IT professionals on assigned projects.
  • Lead large-scale business automation initiatives; develop and manage project budgets and resources; engage with clients to define project scope and review activities, recommendations, and outcomes; coordinate project resources based on requirements; design and implement testing and quality assurance protocols.
  • Act as the Global Process Owner for Resource Management.
  • Ensure that processes within the functional domain are appropriate, documented, and aligned with global strategic business objectives:
  • Review, advise, and make decisions regarding process change requests (empowered by management of the functional domain).
  • Review and approve process modifications and documentation.
  • Enhance processes within the functional domain using data-driven KPIs, considering strategic goals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required; sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% as necessary during project deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience with Resource Management processes and tools, particularly with Certinia PSA Resource Management or similar modern tools.
  • Familiarity with current Resource Management methods and tools utilized across the Lifecycle Services segment at Rockwell Automation.
  • Experience leading software deployment projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Proactive with a comprehensive approach to challenges.
  • Organized with a natural inclination for strategic planning.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Team-oriented and capable of collaborating effectively with others.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and project lifecycle phases.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change initiatives.
