Account Representative for New Business Development in E-commerce

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Representative to join our Direct Sales new business development team at Amazon. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for e-commerce, sales, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and launch new brands within the Softlines, Hardlines, Seller Growth, BBA, or Consumables category.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline mix of both high-value and transactional accounts while executing sales strategies to secure deals that exceed aggressive account acquisition and output goals.
- Identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within senior management and executive teams of prospective accounts, as well as internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
About the Team:
Selling Partner Services (SPS) plays a critical role in supporting growth and helping sellers thrive on Amazon. Our tools and services cater to selling partner brands, from small businesses to large global corporations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of inside sales experience.
- Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses.
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $62,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, offering a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
